As your homeopath, I am committed to helping you reach your fullest potential for health in body, mind, and soul.
A man could not be born alive and healthy were there not already a physician in him. ~Paracelsus
Every human being is endowed with inherent self-healing resources capable of meeting a wide spectrum of physical, emotional, and mental stresses. Homeopathy recognizes this inner physician working ceaselessly to maintain health and balance in body, soul, and mind.
Homeopathy is a safe and effective system of medicine that helps to restore health by stimulating the body’s inherent ability to heal itself. This process is activated by giving medicines made from substances found in the animal, vegetable, and mineral kingdoms based upon what is called the Law of Similars as expressed by homeopathy’s founder, Samuel Hahnemann (1755 – 1843). Each medicine, or remedy, is selected for its similarity to a sick person’s unique array of symptoms of illness or suffering. The word homeopathy is from the Greek: “similar” (homoios) and “suffering” (pathos). The Law of Similars states that “likes will cure like,” meaning that a substance which causes an illness or a symptom can, in very small doses, cure the same problem by stimulating the human organism to rebalance itself. Classical homeopathy adheres to the principles of the use of a single remedy at a time and giving only the minimum dose required.
A wide range of conditions can be successfully treated with homeopathy: acute illnesses and infections, injuries, chronic diseases, including mental, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders. Whether in the case of minor ailments or deeper illness, homeopathy views the symptoms of the body and mind as a totality, recognizing that all symptoms of ill health are expressions of a disharmony within the whole person, and that the whole person needs treatment, not just the isolated symptoms of a particular illness. At the core of homeopathic treatment is the goal of strengthening the immune system, thus raising the overall vitality, relieving specific complaints, restoring harmony, and reducing susceptibility to illness and imbalances.
Homeopathic medicines are quite safe: they are known to be non-allergenic, non-toxic, and free of side effects. They are prepared by homeopathic pharmacies under strict guidelines established by the FDA.
Homeopathy enjoys wide popular support in many countries and has been used as a primary mode of treatment by the British royal family for nearly 100 years. Growing numbers of Americans are turning to this safe, non-toxic alternative form of treatment as they search for solutions to the expanding health problems of our modern times. Two hundred years of clinical experience have proven homeopathy to be extremely effective, comprehensive, holistic approach to health care.
